Biography[]
Season 1[]
Zajac wins the support of Mayor Tom Kane to run for Governor of Illinois. Kane is looking to oust his crony Governor McCall Cullen. He takes Zajac to the City Hall roof garden, ensuring that their meeting is publicized and sending a message to Cullen. Zajac attends a Latino Association dinner where Kane receives an award. After the dinner Zajac begins an affair with Kane's key aide Kitty O'Neill.[1]
